IL CCRT IN UN CAMPIONE ITALIANO DI PSICOTERAPIE: UNO STUDIO DELLA RELAZIONE TRA CATEGORIE SU MISURA E CATEGORIE STANDARD

Riassunto
La ricerca presentata si inserisce nel quadro dei tentativi di conciliare il rigore metodologico e la quantificazione dei dati con lo studio clinico del processo psicoterapeutico. Viene esaminata l'applicazione del metodo di Luborsky (CCRT = Tema Relazionale Conflittuale Centrale) alle trascrizioni di 53 sedute iniziali estratto da 20 psicoterapie in lingua italiana. Per valutare l'attendibilità delle categorie standard nella traduzione italiana, è stato studiato l'accordo fra i giudici sia nel riconoscimento delle unità siglabili che nella scelta delle categorie standard per ciascuna unità. A fronte di un ottimo accordo generale fra le diverse coppie di giudici, è stato riscontrata una significativa diminuzione dell'attendibilità di alcune categorie per ciascuna variabile del CCRT. Vengono evidenziati, oltre a specifici problemi di traduzione nella formulazione delle categorie standard, degli elementi critici nel passag-
gio dalla definizione "su misura" all'attribuzione della categoria standard corrispondente, che richiedono uno studio più approfondito dell'organizzazione di queste categorie, sia in termini di formulazione linguistica che in termini di fondazione teorica.
Summary
This research tries to explore the compatibility of methodological strictness and quantitative data with the clinical study of psychotherapeutic process. The application of Luborky's CCRT method (Core Conflictual Relationship Theme) to the transcripts of 53 sessions from 20 italian psychotherapies is presented. In order to evaluate the italian standard categories' reliability, interjudge agreement has been studied, both for the choice of the codifiable unities and for the assignation of standard categories to each unity. While reporting a very high general level of interjudge agree between different pairs of judges, the Authors point out that for each of the three CCRT components some categories are significantly less reliable. This is discussed as partly owing to inaccuracy of translation, partly however depending upon critical questions in the passage from tailor-made categories to standard ones: it is suggested that the method requires a deeper study of the organisation of standard categories, both in terms of linguistic formulation and of theoretical foundation.
